ABOUT: IYD – HUMANITARIAN RELIEF ASSOCIATION
IYD is a Syrian, non-governmental, non-profit and non-political association working in various fields of humanitarian relief, development, and health.
IYD was established early 2013 in Turkey, so that, it has become by the end of 2016 spread out over different areas in both Syria and Turkey.
IYD obtained its license in 2014, license No. (34-203/022) and it has been working according to Turkish Organizations Law No. /5253/ under the name: ULUSLARARASI INSANI YARDIMLAŞMA DERNEĞI
IYD’s office are spread throughout Turkey and Syria as following:
-Turkey: Istanbul, Gaziantep, Reyhanli
-Syria: Aleppo-Homs-Damascus-Idleb
IYD vision is to make the Syrian society a productive and efficient society, as well as ensuring a decent life of War-Affected persons in Syria.
IYD mission is providing the best humanitarian, developmental, and health services which meet the needs of our people and preserve their dignity, in addition to raise the capacities of Syrian civil society
IYD goals are:
1-Working on ensuring a decent life for all the affected people.
2-Rehabilitation and construction of the damaged infrastructure.
3-Providing the full health care services.
4-Securing the daily basic needs.
5-Raising and revitalizing the capacities of the Syrian Civil Society.
- In response to the Syrian crises, IYD has implemented multi-sectoral relief program through out many projects and in several areas like: Food Security – Livelihood – WASH – Non-Food Items – Health – Cash Transfer in Emergencies CTP and others all that done in coordination with many partners like: WFP, OCHA, Save the Children , UNICEF , World Vision and others.
The total number of beneficiaries from IYD projects is 379026 families and 382234 person
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: FSL Coordinator
Project / Department Title: FSL
Duty station: Programe
Direct supervisor / Reports to: Programme Manager
Main tasks
- Identify the important geographically arias that could be important for implementing activities within FSL sector according to the actual need at the field and in accordance with the donor requirements.
- Analyzing the field needs in relating to FSL sector and submitting reports that clarify the necessity of the projects and further recommendations.
- Developing targeting criteria and mechanism to insure fulfillment the prior identified needs.
- Planning and implementing food security and livelihood activities starting from initiating the proposal and ending by project handover.
- Performing any tasks related to FSL sector and fit his/her qualifications either it was scientific or experience.
Qualifications
- MBA Degree in agriculture science or in veterinarian field or in social economic.
- High scientific certificates in field of agriculture or agricultural food.
- At least 3 years’ experience in same field in non-profit organizations.
- Proven sense of professional discretion, integrity, and ability to work in a national environment.
- High Knowledge of MS office programs especially in relating to his/her work requirements (certificates consider as an advantage).
- Desire to continually learn and develop is a must.
- Working knowledge of work environment is required.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Arabic is required and Turkish language consider as an advantage.
- Preference for candidates between 30-40 year.
